A PLACE OF MIND

"I need a place to run and hide, relax and clear my mind"

In a world moving too fast, The Lacery offers something "radical": permission to slow down.

Our wines—and soon, our retreats and tiny homes—are born from one truth: the best experiences cannot be rushed.

Rooted in Kobylí, a village that has always understood the value of time and craft, we're creating a place where tradition meets transformation. Where every glass, every stay, every moment is worth savouring.

The (P)lace

The root cause, the living heart of the project:
Lácary, a truly one-of-a-kind vineyard.

If Kobylí had a grand cru, this would be it.

About Us

Two childhood friends. One shared calling.

Jakub, a natural winemaker following in his father's footsteps, and Šárka, who left Kobylí for tech adventures across Asia and Berlin before answering wine's call.

The Lacery is our homecoming—bringing us back to our roots with a vision to create something that celebrates our village while offering what our fast-paced world desperately needs: a place to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

Weaving It Together: Slow Craft, Deep Roots

Like the intricate Moravian lace patterns passed down through generations in our village, everything we create requires patience, precision, and care.

Lace is a craft that cannot be rushed. Each thread matters. It's made to last—built for generations, not seasons.

Just as traditional lacemakers slowly wove together small pieces into beautiful patterns, we're weaving new experiences into the fabric of our landscape.
